Practica
The PRACTICA series are heavily production shears with an oscillating knife beam. Their heavy construction guarantees a perfect cut both when cutting thin and thick sheet material.

- The oscillating knife beam with small, fixed cutting angle ensures a minimal deformation during cutting
- The rotary movement from the knife beam creates a clearance between the knives resulting in an important increase in lifetime
- The absence of linear guides from the knife beam ensures a virtually maintenance-free machine

- Nitrogen cylinders enable a rapid upward movement from the knife beam after cutting, increasing productivity even further

The VARIA is a hydraulic guillotine shear with adjustable rake (cutting) angle.
Deratech guillotine shears are built heavily
Deratech guillotine shears are deliberately very heavily built to enable cutting with a small cutting angle. For example, a Deratech 3 meter 6 mm VARIA shear has a maximum cutting angle of 1 ° 30' where most of our competing colleagues use a cutting angle of 2 ° 30' to even 4 °.
